EN : The collection of the Photographic Centre was established in 2003. Members have sent 1-3 works to the jury which made the final choice. Today the collection comprises more than 50 photographs taken in 1956-2005. There is no specific theme or subject to these works, but each photographer has selected a work presenting their own photography. The collection includes thus a variety of themes; landscapes, portraits, nature photography to name a few. Previously these images have been exhibited in several group exhibitions. The collection currently include works from 28 photographers, among which there are professional photographers with several decades of experience but also amateurs with a less extensive background. One of the main tasks of the Ostrobothnian Photographic Centre is to organise courses, workshops and exhibitions to cultivate the local photographic culture. Ostrobothnian Photographic Centre’s exhibition, from 9 April till 3 May. Finnish Seamen's Mission in Brussels, Rue de Luxembourg 20, 1000 Brussels.
